HONOR PEOPLE AND PLACE

THE LITTLE NELL and RESIDENCES AT THE LITTLE NELL
From recognizing outstanding employees to bidding our J1s goodbye to promotions and providing guest amenities for the Super Bowl and with Malaysian dishes at Element 47, TLN and RLN have been busy!
Click here for more news from this property.
LIMELIGHT ASPEN
The Limelight Aspen Sales Team took a ski break recently to build camaraderie, while the front office team celebrated their season with a long table at Ajax Tavern. Employees participated in a Challenge Aspen skiing event to demonstrate our commitment to community!

LIMELIGHT SNOWMASS
The Limelight Snowmass Sales Team also hit the slopes recently, while the housekeeping team spent an afternoon on Snowmass as well. Limelight Snowmass hosted a filming of climate film "The Hypocrite." Their end-of-season party featured amazing Latin American cuisine!

LIMELIGHT KETCHUM
The Limelight Ketchum F&B team is a well-oiled pizza-making machine. Ketchum also recently bid its J1s adieu, several of whom have been with Ketchum for three-to-four seasons! They also partnered with a Sun Valley Food & Wine event and celebrated St. Patrick's Day in March.

LIMELIGHT DENVER
Limelight Denver welcomed several new employees to the team and held a March luncheon to honor employees. Front office staff also participated in--and completed-- a Casino Heist, while our amazing housekeeping staff sold enchiladas to raise money for coworkers experiencing an emergency.

FUN FACT: Limelight Denver is walking-distance to Coors Field and Ball Arena in the heart of downtown Denver. Those looking for a getaway from the Roaring Fork Valley can take an Amtrak train from Glenwood Springs to Union Station, which is practically on the hotel's front doorstep (Ketchum, you can catch a light rail from the airport, too!).

SAFETY IN THE WORKPLACE
The end of the ski season means that some of our properties are getting ready to close while other properties simply see a change in the weather but continue operations. Whatever scenario you find yourself in, it has been a long winter. This time of year lends itself to injuries due to fatigue that can impact decision-making or reaction time. You can protect yourself by being aware of your own state-of-mind and focusing on the tasks that you are performing.

Aspen Hospitality has had a significant reduction in the number of workplace injuries from last season. The Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) has improved to 4.07 compared to 10.32 last year. Congratulations! Our teams in all of our properties have prioritized safety communication this year and the results speak for themselves. Keep the communication going as we see our properties wind down, and don’t be afraid to bring up safety concerns with your teams. Look out for yourself and your coworkers, and save your summer!

PURSUE EXCELLENCE

KUDOS FROM OUR GUESTS!

Residences at The Little Nell:
The RLN concierge team helped the Maniscalco children, Seraphina and Caruso, have a fun Easter surprise by providing Easter baskets and hiding eggs in their hotel room!
The Little Nell: The staff were outstanding, especially the ski concierges (Cam and others), the restaurant concierge (Joe) and Ben and his entire team of drivers taking us to the other mountains, dinner and the airport. The housekeeping staff was exceptional, always available and keeping our room straightened up and loved the turn down service! We met the hotel manager who was very personable and helpful.

Limelight Hotel Ketchum: Bob was wonderful! From the time he picked us up at the airport to the shuttles in between -- to the bus in the lobby to our departure. Bob was always friendly, had a smile on his face, always said hello and asked how we were doing and asked if we needed anything! He also gave us a bit of husband knowledge of the area!

Limelight Snowmass: The hotel is absolutely amazing from the staff, experience, friendliness and cleanliness. More importantly, it feels so warm and everyone is so helpful. We had a medical emergency while we were there and the staff was exceptionally caring, kind and willing to help us in any way possible. The food is terrific and location cannot be beat. We've been there many times and always loved our experience.

Limelight Denver: Would Definitely Come Back...I just have to say this is one of the best hotel stays I've had. The room was extremely clean and I appreciated the little details. Throughout our entire stay, all of the staff were immensely friendly and helpful. They were patient as we asked questions about the area and various places to eat. The staff really put our stay over the top. Special shout out to: Lize (concierge), Aidan (valet), Nick, Kaitlynn, Drew, and Allison (Citizen Rail).

Limelight Aspen: We loved our stay at The Limelight in Aspen. The room was so spacious. Breakfast was a huge selection and lots of options for healthy eaters, business travelers, families with kids, etc. Most of all, the employees and staff were so genuine, helpful, kind, and really made our trip special. We look forward to returning for additional trips soon.

Limelight Boulder is looking great from the first floor of our future guest rooms. Aspen Hospitality's Lance Thompson, SVP of Operations, and Andy Reed, SVP of Development, recently visited the development site and could not be more proud of the construction team.

We can’t wait to open this new property to the Boulder community in late 2025.
