Leaders Workshop Coming up

(For Supervisors & Salaried Employees)

Dear Supervisors and Managers,

I'm reaching out today because we've got two upcoming Leadership classes that came straight from the feedback from the Leaders' Workshop, and I want to be sure you know about them. Navigating Difficult Employee Conversations is an area that many identified as an area for growth this fall. We need at least eight leaders to sign up for each date or unfortunately these classes will be cancelled.

I know these are scheduled during a busy time of year. If you can't make these sessions but would like more resources and information around this topic, please reach out to me.

UPCOMING CLASS: Navigating Difficult Employee Conversations

Based on feedback from the Leaders Workshop, ASC is offering a class on Navigating Difficult Employee Conversations. This session will identify common challenges managers face when building cultures of care and accountability and provide guidance on how to communicate with employees with clarity and compassion to achieve the desired results. This class is available on either:
  • Feb. 22 (9-10:30am Riverside Basalt Office) -- a few seats left!
  • Feb 23, 3:30-5pm (ABC 117 Conference Room) -- we can take up to 12 more

ENGAGEMENT SURVEY DEADLINE EXTENDED

The annual Employee Engagement Survey has been extended through Friday, Feb. 17 at 5pm. Please continue to encourage your employees to take the survey!

After the Survey Closes

  • Use this Managers’ Guide for next steps in reviewing your data, talking with your team and HR, and creating next steps toward improvement.
  • Department Heads in all divisions will work with their HR rep for action planning/ feedback sessions and next steps.

RECOGNIZE AN EMPLOYEE FOR FEBRUARY:

ASC is now taking February manager nominations for the Double Diamond Recognition Program that debuted in January. This program* is to recognize full-time, seasonal, and hourly employees in parent company, mountain ops, and ASPENX divisions. Award recipients receive $350.
