Employee Housing

Housing is never far from our minds, and the pandemic, when paired with the loss of inventory in the short-term rental market over the past several years, has exacerbated the housing crunch to unsustainable levels in the Roaring Fork Valley.

Twenty years ago, we had 72 beds for employees. Since then, ownership has invested over $100 million dollars in housing. Today, we offer over 1,000 beds, which equates to housing for about 20% of our employees. We are continually seeking new opportunities and partnerships, but employees coming to Aspen should expect that they may have to seek out housing on their own.

2023-24 News

  • New Housing: Our flexible 2-bedroom units at the Aspen Basalt Campground’s Tiny Homes will come on-line this year. These units create more privacy, livability,  space, and bedroom headroom.
  • Tenants for Turns program returns for a third year! Any homeowner who rents a room to an employee for a season receives a free ski pass. Interested homeowners should visit this page. Interested employees can check out what’s available at the link to the right.

Employee housing is located throughout the Roaring Fork Valley and offers mostly seasonal and some year-round housing. All housing is located near a RFTA bus line. Housing is generally allocated to departments to disperse to their employees. The housing department does not allocate employee housing. Contact your Talent Acquisition partner or your manager to ask about housing distribution to employees.

Questions? For questions on whether your position comes with a housing allocation, please contact your Talent Acquisitions partner or email [email protected].
