Employee Housing | How it Works

Employee housing is located throughout the Roaring Fork Valley and offers mostly seasonal and some year-round housing. Housing is typically allocated through an internal system.

How the Housing Allocation Works

Employee housing in the Roaring Fork Valley is awarded based on an internal allocation system. Department heads determine how the limited number of beds are allocated to employees.  Apartments are assigned to department managers with the goal of providing beds that are in close proximity to their employee’s  job locations.   However, it’s not unusual for employees who work in Aspen to be assigned housing in Snowmass Village at the Club Commons apartments. Snowmass Village is a short commute to Aspen and has the most housing.

Please contact your Talent Acquisition hiring manager or your department head to see if a bed has been reserved for you.

Winter Housing

In the winter season, Roaring Fork Valley apartments are designated for full time employees ONLY. There is no application process, as housing is not obtained through the housing department. Housing is obtained through your department head or human resources contact.

Summer Housing:

In the summer season, apartments are designated for full-time Roaring Fork Valley employees ONLY. There is no application process, as housing is not obtained through the housing department. Housing is obtained through your department head or human resources contact.

Employees leasing for the summer are not permitted to extend leases into the winter season without a formal written assignment from a division director. Residents who were housed for the summer term do not receive any type of priority or preference for winter housing.
