Employee Housing Property Information

How it Works:

Once you have been assigned housing from your department’s hiring manager, they will send that room assignment to the employee housing department. The housing department will then send you an email within a couple of business days with a lease attached, full apartment details, payment information and deadlines. (Full details below; print this page for your reference later)

AABC (Aspen Airport Business Center)

Description: Located right across from the Aspen Pitkin County Airport in the back of the Aspen Business Center (ABC) the ABC houses both employees and non-employees. Close to the bus route and grocery store. Apartments are mostly furnished. Linens and kitchen supplies are NOT provided. Full kitchen included with full size stove, refrigerator, and microwave. Washer and Dryer in each unit. Residential parking is available for purchase through the housing office on a first-come first-serve basis.  For rent rates please contact the Housing Office.

Annex (Aspen)

Annex (Aspen)

Description: Annex is one of our smallest properties with only 9 apartments. Located in right in the heart of downtown Aspen it is one of our most sought after residences and normally houses management staff. Each unit is a one bedroom, one bath, “unfurnished” apartment. Linens and kitchen supplies are NOT provided. Full kitchen included with full size stove, refrigerator, and microwave. There are coin operated laundry facilities on site. RFTA bus stops are located a stone’s throw away. Residential parking is available for purchase through the housing office on a first-come first-serve basis. There is street parking in the area through the City of Aspen Parking Authority with a valid lease. For rent rates please contact the Housing Office.

Description: 40 Tiny Houses located in Basalt.  Laundry facilities on site.  RFTA bus stops are located a stone’s throw away. Linens and kitchen supplies are NOT provided. Club Commons I & II (Snowmass)

Description: Our largest housing complex, Club Commons is directly behind the Snowmass Club in the middle of the golf course. About 1 mile from the base of Snowmass and about 10 miles from the town of Aspen. Individual locking bedrooms, most apartments have four bedrooms and two bathrooms and are approximately 860 sq ft in size. Rent amounts vary.  In the four bedroom apartments, each bedroom is furnished with a twin bed and night stand. The living rooms are furnished with a couch and/or chair, table & chairs and/or bar stools & coffee table (depending on room layout), and a full kitchen with full size stove, refrigerator and microwave. Linens and kitchen supplies are NOT provided. There are coin operated laundry facilities on site. Residential parking is available for purchase through the housing office on a first-come first-serve basis.

The Club Commons is within walking distance to RFTA bus stop and the free Village Shuttle bus stop.  Rent rates at the Club Commons depend on the size and the type of room. For rates please contact the Housing Office.

Divide (Snowmass)

Description: Divide is our smallest property with only 6 apartments. Located right at the base of Snowmass Mountain the Divide is an ASC Maintenance facility by day. “Off the beaten path” the Divide is over a mile away from any Snowmass Village bus stop. This property is reserved exclusively for Snowmass Mountain employees with prior manager’s approval. Units are “unfurnished.” Linens and kitchen supplies are NOT provided. Full kitchen with full size stove, refrigerator, and microwave are provided. Washer and dryer in each unit. Parking is available on site.For rent rates please contact the Housing Office.

Heatherbed (Aspen Highlands)

Description: The Heatherbed is a former ski lodge across the street from Aspen Highlands Ski Area. It’s a rustic building in a very quiet location 3 miles out of the town of Aspen. Most rooms are basic, motel style, furnished with one or two beds, dressers, lamps, microwave and a small refrigerator. Efficiency units are furnished with a small fridge and microwave. Studio units are furnished with a microwave and small fridge. A full stove and a communal kitchen is available for use in the Heatherbed’s lobby area. Each room has its own bathroom.  There is a coin operated laundry room on site. Tenant must provide their own bed linens, cookware and eating utensils. Parking at the Heatherbed is extremely limited and is available for purchase through the housing office on a first-come first-serve basis.  There is no street parking in the area. The free Castle/Maroon bus runs between Aspen and Highlands every 20 minutes. Large shared studio (360 sq ft) with small fridge and microwave is suitable for 2 people. Motel-style rooms (160 sq ft) with small fridge and microwave for 1 person. Description: Located centrally in Aspen. Walking distance to everything. The Holiday House features studio apartments for two people (stackable bunk beds) and also one bedroom units. The living rooms are furnished with a couch, table and chairs, and a full kitchen with mini size stove, refrigerator and microwave. Linens and kitchen supplies are NOT provided. There are coin operated laundry facilities on site. Parking at the Holiday House is extremely limited and is available for purchase through the housing office on a first-come first-serve basis. There is street parking in the area through the City of Aspen Parking Authority with a valid lease. For rent rates please contact the Housing Office.

Snow Eagle (Aspen)

Description: The Snow Eagle is centrally located in Aspen, two blocks from The City Market grocery store. The Snow Eagle was built as a motel and later converted to employee housing. The Snow Eagle is an older building, and is very basic. The units are apartment style with small kitchens including a full size refrigerator and stove, living area, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. Each bedroom is furnished with two single beds with dressers and lamps. The main living area has a table, chairs, couch and lamps. Parking is extremely limited and is available for purchase through the housing office on a first-come first-serve basis.  Tenant must provide their own bed linens, towels, cookware and kitchen utensils. There is coin operated laundry room on site. Two bedroom dormitory units (600 sq ft) – 2 beds per bedroom sleeps 4. For rent rates please contact the Housing Office.

Sopris View Apartments (Carbondale)

Description: Two Bedroom, Two Bath unfurnished apartments. Each unit has kitchen with built in microwave, self cleaning range, dishwasher, refrigerator, full size washer and dryer. Each bedroom is good size with bathroom and a walk-in closet in each room. Living area and bar. Each unit has either a small fenced area or balcony. Utilities included are gas, trash, water, and sewer. You pay for cable television and electric (lights, kitchen, and washer dryer only). Each unit has two assigned parking spaces. There are no fees for parking. The area is very close to grocery store, movies, bowling and beautiful Crown Mountain Park. The Hub at Willits (Basalt)

Description: Centrally located in Willits, close to City Market, Whole Foods, The Arts Campus At Willits and restaurants. Five 1 bedroom, two 2 bedroom and one 3 bedroom deed restricted units (unfurnished) available to qualifying applicants. Within the main building are 2 three bedroom apartments and 33 four bedroom units (all furnished), which can be split into two 2 bedroom units. There is a coin operated laundry facilities on property. Winter housing is available for Aspen Skiing Company employees only. Rooms can only be rented through assignment from the housing coordinator of an employee’s respective department.
