Internal Application Process

We encourage employees to seek internal growth, find the best fit for their talents and skills within the company, and build a long-lasting career with us. Seasonal employees are welcome to apply for positions in different divisions and also to consider year-round employment after their first season. We encourage you to speak with your manager or managers in other departments about your career goals and keep an eye on Smart Recruiters, as positions are posted year-round and sometimes months in advance of the upcoming season.

Employees (except hiring managers, see below) wishing to be considered to transfer to a new position in the company will need to follow these steps:

  1. An employee is required to apply for a new role within the company using the internal Smart Recruiters link.
  2. An employee’s application will be reviewed by a member of the Talent Acquisition team, who will partner with Human Resources to determine whether the employee is in good standing and eligible.
  3. Talent Acquisition will review application and determine if the employee meets the qualifications of the position.
  4. If an employee meets the qualifications of a position, a member of the Talent Acquisition team will schedule an interview with the employee.
  5. After speaking with Talent Acquisition, an employee must advise their current manager of their interest in applying internally to another position or division of the company.
  6. Prior to an offer being made, department managers of both the employee’s current department and new department will work together to decide if an offer is appropriate and the start date.
  7. Talent Acquisition will send the internal candidate an offer letter or advise them otherwise.

Hiring Managers:  If you are a hiring manager, you will need to follow slightly different directions to apply for an internal job.
