OPEN ENROLLMENT | April 15-26, 2024

  • It begins with an email. On Monday, April 15, you will receive an email from “[email protected]” to the primary email you have listed in Kronos (please update your email now if needed) announcing that Open Enrollment has started. You will continue to receive reminders until you complete the process.
  • Seasonal full-time employees qualify for benefits after 12 months. If you are eligible, you will receive an email to enroll. Even if you do not want coverage, you must go to the Employee Benefit Portal (Empyrean) and decline coverage.
  • How to choose. When enrollment opens, you will choose your benefits through the Employee Benefit Portal (Empyrean). A link to the site will be in your email and also here. You can also call the dedicated support line to enroll over the phone at (866) 507-7058.
  • Wellness Check Question. During open enrollment, you will be asked whether you have visited your primary care physician in the past year. This is a simple yes/no answer and is based on the honor system. Please make every effort to complete or schedule a routine Wellness checkup with your physician — preventative medicine can lead to early detection of health issues and even save your life. Any primary physician doctor’s visit qualifies, but if you’re specifically scheduling a wellness check, you will need to tell your doctor in order for it to be covered and for billing to be accurate. By answering yes to this question, you will be eligible for the employee portion of the Health Reimbursement (HRA) dollars that the company funds on June 1.
  • During Enrollment. When you go through the enrollment process, you must select an option under each tile to complete your enrollment unless it is free to all employees (like Meru Mental Health). Please don’t skip around the tiles– you are required to go in order. You can use the pink button in the lower right to advance. There is also a handy calculator feature on the top menu bar if you need assistance with estimating costs. When your choice has been saved, you will see a green box with a check mark on that tile indicating that this section is complete.
  • Don’t lose your benefits! Remember, this is an ACTIVE enrollment. If you do not enroll or re-enroll by April 26th, your employee benefits will expire after May 31– no exceptions or late enrollments will be accepted.


HEALTH & WELLNESS FAIRS

    • Aspen | April 23 (7am-6pm) and April 24 (7am-noon). Come hear about benefit changes in Open Enrollment sessions, get on-site help with enrollment, talk to benefit vendors, and get bloodwork and skin checks (see below). The fair will be at the Buttermilk Mountain lodge and includes lots of food! All employees are welcome to attend.
      • The LifeHealth blood work/skin check registration schedule is now live here. You will need to sign in. If you’re signing in for the first time, use the code ASPENSKI.

      • Getting Screening Results
      • Half-hour Open Enrollment Sessions will be Tuesday, April 23 at 10am and 2pm and Wednesday, April 24 at 9am and 11am.
      • HR Managers will be on-hand to help you register for benefits in-person if needed.
